If we really understand grace, what are we to do with it? In the Parable of the Talents, Jesus tells the story of a landowner who goes on a long journey and leaves his estate in the hands of his servants to be invested and bring a return. As those who desire to know what it means to be the church, clearly one of the answer is that we are a people in whom Jesus has invested, so that we can turn around and invest in others.
